Gruhapravesam, griha pravesh and bhoomi pooja

A gruhapravesam is held at an auspicious time chosen for the family, often early in the morning. A bhoomi pooja marks the start of construction, and is usually a smaller gathering. Both are invitations people keep and quote back to you: the time matters, and the family's names must be right.

We take the muhurtham time and the address from you and set them as written, then check the time, the weekday and the date against each other before we send you a draft.

What a good housewarming invitation includes

The names of the head of the family and the household, the date and muhurtham time, the address with a short landmark, a line asking the guest to bless the home, and a contact number for directions. If lunch or dinner follows, we add that too.
