Why a video invitation works for weddings

A wedding has many people to reach: parents' friends, distant relatives, colleagues, neighbours. A printed card reaches the people you can hand it to. A film travels. It is forwarded in family groups, played aloud on speaker in the living room, and saved for later.

It also carries sound, motion and the feeling of the families, so a film made with care feels like an invitation from you.

What we put in your film

Names of the couple and both families, the full list of events (haldi, sangeet, muhurtham, reception) with dates and times, the venue, a short blessing line and an end card. We design around your colours and the traditions of your community.

We write the dates and weekdays from your details, then check them against each other. A wrong weekday is one of the most common mistakes on invitations, so we look for it on purpose.

Languages and scripts

Telugu, Tamil and Hindi invitations are typeset in their own scripts by people who read them. If you want one film for the family and another for the groom's side in a different language, both are included: the Wedding Film has two languages.
