1. Opening blessing line

శ్రీరస్తు శుభమస్తు అవిఘ్నమస్తు

Meaning: May there be prosperity, may there be auspiciousness, may there be no obstacles. Many families add a line for their family deity above this. Use the line your family uses.

2. Parents inviting (bride's side)

[Bride's parents] దంపతుల కుమార్తె [Bride] కు, [Groom's parents] దంపతుల కుమారుడు [Groom] తో వివాహం [date] న [time] కు [venue] లో జరుగును. మీరు సకుటుంబ సమేతంగా విచ్చేసి వధూవరులను ఆశీర్వదించవలసిందిగా ప్రార్థన.

Meaning: The marriage of [Bride], daughter of [Bride's parents], with [Groom], son of [Groom's parents], will take place on [date] at [time] at [venue]. We request you to come with your family and bless the couple.

3. Muhurtham and venue lines

సుముహూర్తం: [date], [day], [time] గంటలకు

వేదిక: [venue]

Meaning: Auspicious time: [date], [day], at [time]. Venue: [venue]. Write the muhurtham exactly as your purohit gives it, and check that the weekday matches the date.

4. Both families inviting

[Bride] మరియు [Groom] ల వివాహానికి ఉభయ కుటుంబాల తరఫున మీ అందరినీ సాదరంగా ఆహ్వానిస్తున్నాము. మీ రాక మాకు ఆనందం.

Meaning: On behalf of both families, we warmly invite you all to the wedding of [Bride] and [Groom]. Your presence is our joy.

5. Reception

[date] సాయంత్రం [time] కు [venue] లో జరుగు వివాహ విందుకు తప్పక రావలెను.

Meaning: Please be sure to come to the wedding reception dinner on the evening of [date] at [time] at [venue].

6. Short WhatsApp message in Telugu

నమస్కారం [Guest name] గారు. పెద్దల ఆశీస్సులతో [Bride] మరియు [Groom] ల వివాహం [date] న [city] లో జరుగుతోంది. మీ ఆహ్వానం ఇక్కడ ఉంది: [link]. తప్పకుండా రండి.

Closing the card

Many Telugu cards end with the names of the people inviting, often after a word such as ఇట్లు (yours) or a line naming the family elders. Customs differ between families and regions, so follow what your family has used before.
